City of Fallen Angels (Mortal Instruments, Book 4)Reviewed by.  Mocha Latte
Two months after the events that took place in City of Glass we discover that someone is murdering Shadowhunters who previously allied themselves with Valentine and his circle, displaying their carcases around the city of New York.

Hostility begins to build between Shadowhunters and Downworlds and their ties begin to wither. As Jace and Clary try to figure out what exactly is going on they discover something that could bring them closer or tear them apart for good. Meanwhile, Simon's playing the part of "monkey-in-the-middle" with everyone who wants the "daylighter" on their side, though he wants nothing to do with them. In City of Fallen Angels, we find ourselves back in the world we fell in love with where the stakes are higher.

Yes, it finally arrived. The long awaited fourth installment to what was originally supposed to be a trilogy. I'd been super excited for this novel since the announcement that Cassandra Clare would indeed be releasing another three novels in the mortal instruments series.

If you are like me and got an exclusive copy of the novel, you received a letter written by Jace to Clary(the one he left her during City of Glass). The letter was a wonderful addition to the new book and a great bonus for fans of the series.

Our lovable characters are now more mature and experienced and Cassie clearly shows us this through her writing. I found myself falling in love with them all over again. God, i fell even harder for Magnus. I couldn't help it, sorry folks! Jace completely tugged on my heart strings.

In the previous installments we were never truly sure about his feelings for Clary, we thought he was a roller coaster of conflicting emotions but in COFA we finally get to see how much he really loves and cherishes her. Ah, and Simon. How could we ever forget about Simon? Simon's finally in the spotlight in COFA, took him long enough.

Needless to say, the long awaited City of Fallen Angels was NOT a disappointment. It was far from it, in fact, it was a dream come true. I'm DYING for the next installment but will have to make due with waiting for Clockwork Prince, another extra dose of Shadowhunter awesomeness.
